Sweaters Love Distressed Shorts

Happy Monday gang! I don't know about you, but I needed a cup of coffee as soon as my feet hit the floor this morning. So it is safe to say that my blogging is certainly fueled by a yummy cup of joe. Today, I am sharing Sunday's cozy and simplistic outfit. Sunday was a day well spent at the zoo and in downtown Cleveland. An appealing yet comfy outfit was calling my name.

For the past few days it has been a bit chilly here in Tennessee, hence perfect weather for denim shorts paired with a sweater. This is one of my favorite effortless looks. It's perfect for those days where it's too chilly for shorts + short-sleeves. This outfit kept me perfectly comfortable while spending the day outside. I completed my look with a hat and booties, simple yet stylish. Have a great Monday. Make the best out of today and everyday.

Back to Basics

You can never go wrong with dressing in basics. In fact, my favorite go-to pieces are the simple ones. Loose white tees, distressed shorts, stripes, and neutral accessories are my ultimate staples. There is so much versatility to be had. You can dress these pieces up or down depending on the occasion or mood. In my outfit above, I wore a simple striped dress and added a tie-die pullover around my waist. I then completed my look with simple black pieces. It is a look that I love and is yet so simple.
