Hello all, it has been a slow week of blogging due to family illnesses. I ask that y'all please send your prayers this way! Today, I bring you a post featuring the shop, "Southern Siblings," operated by my mom and uncle. Southern Siblings is located in Belmont, North Carolina at the Catawba River Antique Mall. My mom is incredibly talented at what she does, that is decorating and restoring things that were once junk. If you are ever in the area, you won't regret paying a visit to Southern Siblings. More about Southern Siblings in the words of my mother: 

Brother & Sister who have a passion for finding treasures from the past to incorporate into today's decor. We love taking outdated furniture pieces and turning them into something beautiful & practical.

We carry different items from week to week. We carry a variety of vintage items to incorporate into your decor. We have everything from a large metal fruit scale, to a Steamboat chest from 1862. Our shop also has smaller items such as vintage lunch boxes, and old wooden Coke crates.

We also have many newer items from pillows to flower arrangements. We usually have a variety of Ray Dunn Mugs.

At Southern Siblings, you will find tables, chairs, stools and other furniture pieces that have been refurbished.
